I realized I’m absolutely focused in the Olympic Games so I think it’s a good moment to take a break before the opening ceremony. Today we are back with european clubs. I started with Maccabi Tel Aviv because it was the first FIBA team to defeat a NBA team in history but Real Madrid is the king of Europe with 9 championships and 8 runner-ups.
After the last results in Euroleague … Maccabi Tel Aviv is defeated of the competition. Is the first time in half century that Maccabi doesn’t reach the Top16. But I’m going to give them one reason for laugh remembering better times.
Retired since this June Andrei Kirilenko (1981) was the total player. It’s hard to find a player able to score, rebounder and blocker. Well, Andrei was of the bests and playing as outside player. But besides, he had a big passing vision and he could steal balls as a point guard being a big man.
Real Madrid is the champion 20 years after! Congratulations!
I’ve thought it would be interesting to share my experience in the Fan Zone because these things doesn’t appear in the media as frequently as the games. So I expect you find it interesting too!
