At the gold medal game Gasol had the decisive shoot in his hands. Pau missed it but the Spain national team learnt a big lesson: Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up. Spain returned stronger to Beijing 2008 and took by storm the 2009 Eurobasket.

The 2007 gold medal game was my first experience inside an international tournament. It was a key day in the FibaManiac history as I told you in the Javtokas post 😉
